Multi-Object Tracking

Detecting an object in a single frame is one problem. Following that same object across hundreds of frames, through occlusions and overlaps, without losing or swapping its identity, is a different and harder one. Multi-object tracking is what keeps a car labeled as the same car from frame one to frame five hundred, even after it briefly disappears behind another vehicle.
